Kornél Makrai
Founder, Managing Director
Kornél is the founder and managing director of Smart Zebra Solutions Hungary
He has gained his latest experience at a multinational accounting and advisory firm in Budapest, where he has been responsible for the financial due diligences being the head of Transaction Advisory Services team. During this time Kornél led buy-side and vendor-side due diligence projects in various industries, e.g. real estate, software development, biotechnology, transportation, food manufacturing. Kornél achived a decent track record in complex cross-border transactions as well
Before joining Grant Thornton Hungary in 2019, Kornél worked in the Transaction Advisory Services team at Grant Thornton London. He was involved in various due diligence engagements, primarily in real estate and professional services industries, mainly from private equity clients
Prior to that, Kornél worked for Deloitte and EY in Budapest over nine years, where he gained extended experience in due diligences and financial audit in several industries
Kornél also has worked in several business planning and business plan review projects
